Sejenis pokok herba keluarga nanas tempatan. Buahnya tiada boleh besar dan kandungan asamnya tinggi dan tidak boleh dimakan. Digunakan oleh kaum Cina tempatan sebagai hiasan dan sembayang pada Tahun Baru Cina terutamanya gelungan peniaga dengan kepercayaan ia akan membawa keuntungan penyagaan yang baik.

This is a herbacious local plant of the pineapple family. The fruit does not develope and has a high acid content thus cannot be eaten. It is used by the local Chinese as a decorative item and for praying during the Chinese New Year, especially by the businessmen with the popular belief that it will bring success in their business ventures.
